Meet the Children
Some of the people who we have helped include:
AdelaineAt two years of age she was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Her family lost two cars because they simply did not have the money to pay medical bills and household bills as well. This family relied on family and friends to transport them to work and doctor's visits until Fore The Children surprised the family with a car paid in full.

AngeloDiagnosed with Leukemia. Fore The Children granted Angelo his wish which was to swim with the dolphins. We sent the entire family to Discovery Cove in Orlando.
"This is Angelo (with his family). Fore The Children sent his family to fulfill one of his dreams - Swim with Dolphins. Angelo has cancer and unfortunately is currently in the hospital with a very high fever. Dad is in the military and has been overseas for some time. As soon as Dad arrived back into the U.S. we sent the family went to Discovery Cove and Sea World. Below is an email message form Mom.
OH MY GOODNESS! I just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had an amazing time at Discovery Cove! It was one of the best times our lives. I can not express to you how much fun we had this weekend. We have a picture for you and your board members and I will get that out in the mail asap. Also I emailed you a few pics. We really can't thank you enough and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Brooke M.Diagnosed with (ALL) Leukemia. Fore the Children helped the family by sending them $250.00 in Publix gift cards and paid one months rent of $980.00.

DanicaFamily struggled to pay medical bills so dad began his own lawn cutting services. He cut lawns after his regular full time job. Someone broke into his storage unit where all his lawn equipment was stored. Fore The Children surprised the family with a commercial tracker and trailor ($10,000.00).
We also paid $750.00 medical insurance deductible for the family.

JordanFore The Children paid an $850.00 medical bill for the family.

Katia
Purchased items from her Christmas Wish List, which included a Barbie Kitchen, gifts for family, and gift certificates to local restaurants. Also, paid $500.00 food bill during a separate fund raising event. She was given clearance from her doctor that her family was able to have a furry friend in the house. Fore The Children purchased Fozzy.
Below is a message from her mom:
"THIS DOGGY IS JUST THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD. WHAT PERFECT TIMING AND A PERFECT MATCH FOR THIS FAMILY!! I WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT HE HAS BROUGHT SO MUCH JOY TO EVERYONE IN THIS FAMILY. KATIA JUST LOVES DRAGGING HIM AROUND. SHARAYAH AND TATIANA LOVE DRESSING HIM IN CLOTHES (THEY ARE BOY CLOTHES AT LEAST). MYRON FINALLY HAS A "SON" AND WELL I JUST LIKE BEING ABLE TO BATHE HIM, BRUSH HIM, PET HIM AND JUST HAVE A DOG AROUND AGAIN. I AM REALLY A DOG PERSON. HE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL!!"
LukeLuke needed money to pay for travel expenses to St. Jude's Hospital. In addition, Luke wanted to ride in a Hummer. Fore The Children, Inc. arranged to have a Hummer pick him and friends up for his birthday party. We also purchased a 4-wheeler & helmet.

MandyFore The Children sent her entire family to a wonderful vacation swimming with the dolphins at Discovery Cove.

MatthewMathew is now home under Hospice Care. He has been in and out of the hospital since November. His brother is a perfect bone marrow match. However, the cancer returned and doctors are not able to proceed with the surgery. Fore The Children gave his parents a $500.00 VISA card to help with expenses.
NikkiMatched funds from Spaghetti dinner which totaled $2,000. Made baskets to auction and provided baked goods for a Bake Sale totaling $250. Paid for "Rock Star" birthday party totaling $400.
Nikki will soon be turning eleven years old. She has received her last dose of chemo and is ready to start living life treatment free. Her wish was to own a Pomeranian that she could carry around with her in her purse. Fore The Children was more than happy to give her HOPE, her new puppy.

PatrickDonated $5,000.00 to his Driving for Donor Bone Marrow Campaign.

SamanthaWe sent her and her family on a four day Walt Disney World vacation and they were treated to stay at the Dolphin Hotel.

ScottDiagnosed with cancer Scott is unable to play like most children. What he misses the most is ice hockey. Scott's doctor has given him clearance to play as long as he is given private lessons. Fore The Children is paying for 10 hours of private ice hockey lessons ($75.00 per hour).

Sierra
Shortly after a Downs-Syndrome diagnosis, Sierra's parents were told she had cancer. She is currently in the hospital with phenomena and is now told that the cancer has returned. Fore The Children gave her parents a $500.00 VISA card to pay for food and gas.

Zach6 year old Zach wanted this water slide more then anything else. Fore The Children purchased it for him.
Paid $4,000 food bill at his tournament and donated a $1,000 to his Trust Fund.

Brooke O.Family was in need of help with medical bills. Fore The Children, Inc. wrote a check directly to the doctor's office for over $3,000.00.
CatherineCatherine is a middle school student who wanted to take her little brother and family to Walt Disney World. Fore The Children, Inc. bought the family 4-day tickets, t-shirts and provided hotel accommodations.
ChristalChristal's family's car needed new tires in order to drive to St. Jude's Hospital. In addition, Fore The Children, Inc. gave the family travel money and small toys to play in the car to make the trip more enjoyable. The following year, the family decided to seek medical advice in California. Fore The Children, Inc. paid for the families airfare and sponsored a 9-Hole Golf Outing (which raised $3,000.00) to cover other expenses.
DelanyWe matched funds ($1,000.00) at her garage sale.
ElliFamily and friends created a cookbook to pay medical expenses. Fore The Children, Inc. purchased $100.00 worth of cookbooks.
HannahWe paid the $1,800.00 food bill for her spaghetti dinner/auction fund raiser.
JacobWe gave the family $1,000 in grocery gift certificates and $250 on a gasoline card.
JaredWe set up a Trust and donated $16,500.00 to pay medical expenses.
LilyFriends and family held a golf tournament to pay medical expenses. Fore The Children, Inc. paid the $1,600.00 food bill directly to the golf course.
MakilyWe gave the mom $1,800.00 to attend an out of state medical conference to learn about her child's rare disorder. We also purchased $2,600.00 worth of medical equipment and paid another $500.00 in order to have mom trained on how to use the equipment properly.
NinaWe gave Nina's mom $1,200.00 to attend an out of state medical conference to meet a doctor doing a study on children born similar to her daughter.
PaytonFour-year college scholarship to a Florida College of her choice.
SydneySydney and her mom make bracelets and sell them to raise money to pay medical expenses. Fore The Children, Inc. donated $1,200.00 to fund this project.
